V Flow changes theway

Based on the innovative ZST+ platform, the Resona Series' novel B-Mode-based V-Flow function breaks the angle-dependent limitations of colour Doppler. Flow speed and direction can be displayed with dynamic arrows using this function. This can be advantageous in various applications:
Case 1
  • The first case is about haemodynamics at the carotid bifurcation. The first image is a colour flow image, the second a V-flow image. Compared to colour flow images, V-flow has a higher frame rate. It is angle independent and can accurately represent the speed and direction of blood flow.
Case 2
  • The second case involves plaque. The blood flow isaccelerated after passing the stenosis and the resulting turbulence are highlighted by V-Flow.
Case 3
  • The third case shows quantitative analysis of the haemodynamics of the internal and external carotid arteries at the bifurcation.
